You may have filled out a mentorship form before, and we’re sorry to ask you to do so again, but we’re going to try something new…
After internal research and discussion, we’ve decided to spearhead a new kind of mentorship in quantum: A network that will pair each individual with two near-peers with whom they’ll meet regularly, and one senior quantum professional who will offer a more limited tradiational mentorship relationship.
As this is new, we wish to begin with a pilot project. This will see a limited number of participants build the foundations of our network, and allow us to iterate on the mentorship program form before growing to a larger size. This pilot will run for 6 months, after which we will re-evaluate and progress. During this time, we expect all in-person near-peer mentors to meet with their matches once a month for a (sponsored!) lunch, and we will check in regularly to monitor progress.
